Beit Bina is committed to providing students with quality Jewish Studies and Hebrew education. An essential part of the school's mission is to promote Jewish identity and Jewish values among its children. The school maintains an atmosphere of harmony, tolerance and ethical integrity. Students and their parents are required to maintain these values at Beit Bina.

It is the objective of Beit Bina at Temple Israel to recognize, preserve and protect the individual rights of all students and to encourage and enforce these rights within the framework of an orderly and efficient school program. It is the duty of the school to prevent students' and/or parents' conduct that becomes dangerous, disruptive or destructive, and therefore endangers the function of Beit Bina.

It is the expectation that each student and his/her parents behave in a manner that does not threaten, interfere with or deprive others of their right to an education, and that they accept responsibility for their behavior. An effective school environment must be safe and free from disruption.

Students and parents are expected to be familiar with the school's conduct policies and to willingly abide by them. If a student or parent fails to abide by the School's Code of Conduct, it is the Education Committee's responsibility to review the case and respond appropriately, including the imposition of sanctions, if necessary. Serious violations could result in expulsion. If a student is expelled, there will be no refund of tuition or waiver of financial obligations.

We understand that grievances or disagreements may arise from time to time. We support the community's right to respectful dissent. Issues should be brought to the director's or Education Committee's attention so that conflicts can be addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
