Annual Renewal 2017 - 2018

It costs approximately $240 per month per family (a family is defined as up to 2 adults and their children) to provide all the wonderful services that we have available. Do note that in addition to yearly membership, those with children attending Beit Bina also register and are required to be members and also pay tuition for Religious School through an additional registration and tuition plan.

We are introducing a new level called Enhanced Dues as a way to provide the much-needed support our Jewish community requires to operate on an annual basis. This community has a dedicated staff to lead us in worship, celebration and education and an aging building to support. Temple Israel takes pride in turning no adult away from membership or child away from a Jewish education due to an inability to provide minimum financial support. Only through Enhanced Dues, generous donations and the support of the Temple Israel Foundation will we be able to come close to generate the funds necessary to operate. Please see the following section for our additiolnal ways of saying thank you.

Enhanced Dues

Chesed - Kindness $10,800 and above

Shalom - Peace $7,200 and above

Tzedakah - Righteousness $3,600 and above

Membership Dues

Sustaining $240 per month or $2880 and above

Minimum $125 per month or $1500 and above

A core belief of our community is that financial limitations should never be a barrier to membership. If you are unable to meet the minimum, please contact the office for a confidential dues relief form.

We know that those members who choose Enhanced Membership Dues do so with the highest ideals of “thank you,” a special benefit program has been designed for the different levels of Enhanced giving. In addition to the benefits listed below, all tzedakah in mind. However, as our way of saying “Thank You”:

For giving Chesed - Kindness $10,800 and up - You will receive: Tree of Life leaf, Yahrzeit Plaque and Pew Naming Plaque

For giving Shalom - Peace $7,200 and up - You will receive: Tree of Life leaf, Yahrzeit Plaque

For giving Tzedakah - Righteousness $3,600 and up - You will receive: Tree of Life Leaf

With a donation, you can honor and remember friends and loved ones, or celebrate important life cycle events. You can either designate your gift to the General Fund, to use where most needed, or designate your gift as restricted to benefit one of our ongoing funds. Either way, your generosity helps us deepen and expand our kehillah kedosha, our sacred community.
